WAE-CW 2026 remarks.

The wae cw 2026 finished one week ago. I remember it for the hot summer temperature more than 35 degrees centigrad. I was going to participate in the high power category but I didn’t switch on the amplifier in order to keep the temperature less than 35 degrees centigrad. On my shack i don’t have the air conditioned. I had operate only twenty hours. I no longer succeed to operate for long time on the 48 hours contest.

Now i post the rate graph generated by the logger QARTest:

Fifteen days to the European WAEDC CW 2026. It starts the 8th of august 2026 at 00:00 UTC, and will finish the 9th august 2026 at 23:59 UTC. 48 hours of duration over the second full weekend of august. Remember the single operators may operate for 36 hours maximum. This is the most famous contest organized by an european radioamateur association, the german DARC. This the link to the full rules.

The 2026 edition of the IARU HF World Championship. is finished. I operated for just eight hours on saturday the 11 july 2026, for CW training and for connect the stations partecipating at the WRTC from England with prefix MB. The bands was crowed from world wide. I operated only on 20, 15 and 10 metres bands.

The ARI-DX 2026 declared scores, has been pubblished on the ARI web site. This is the link to download them in .pdf format. I found myself on the second place in the cattegory Single Operator Mixed High Power. This is a surprise for me, i didn’t expect this result. But we have to wait the final results to confirm or not that positions.

Instead, this a link to a my previous article written just at the finish of the contest.

ARIDX International 2026 Comments. Our ARI International HF Dx contest 2026 is finished. I don’t know if my performance has be satisfied. This year I changed category. I participated in Single Operator Mixed High Power, instead of my usual one, Single operator CW Low Power. I have to consider two situations. The first one is that the DVK (Digital Voice Keyer) didn’t work good, although it was checked before on the air with other friends. The second one is that, the high power give me almost 200 qso more, in CW mode, than the last year with 100 Watt. I didn’t use the RTTY mode

I post the picture of the summary table generated by the contest logger QARTest:

.

Spring season, is time to antennas maintenance after the winter bad weather. Every year as soon as the weather become fair, in order to obtain a good performance in ARIDX 2026 Antennas maintenance. The ARI International Dx Contest, is organized by ARI the italian radioamateur associaation.

The ARIDX 2026 Antennas maintenance is carry out to assure the 100% efficience to the antennas system. I think we can’t instal antennas and live there in the roof or in the tower for years and years without any maintenace. So yearly I chech my multidipole for 40, 80 and 160 metres.

The ARI Dx 2026 rules for non-italian participants has been pubblished on the ARI web site. This is the link to download it in .pdf format.
