The 2026 edition of the IARU HF World Championship. is finished. I operated for just eight hours on saturday the 11 july 2026, for CW training and for connect the stations partecipating at the WRTC from England with prefix MB. The bands was crowed from world wide. I operated only on 20, 15 and 10 metres bands.
The ARI-DX 2026 declared scores, has been pubblished on the ARI web site. This is the link to download them in .pdf format. I found myself on the second place in the cattegory Single Operator Mixed High Power. This is a surprise for me, i didn’t expect this result. But we have to wait the final results to confirm or not that positions.

I remember you the date of the next edition of the ARI International Dx Contest. It will take place the next first weekend of may 2027 starting at 12:00 UTC of saturday the 1st may 2027 and finisching at 11:59 UTC of sunday the 2nd may 2027. Save the date. I’ll be there too.

ARIDX International 2026 Comments. Our ARI International HF Dx contest 2026 is finished. I don’t know if my performance has be satisfied. This year I changed category. I participated in Single Operator Mixed High Power, instead of my usual one, Single operator CW Low Power. I have to consider two situations. The first one is that the DVK (Digital Voice Keyer) didn’t work good, although it was checked before on the air with other friends. The second one is that, the high power give me almost 200 qso more, in CW mode, than the last year with 100 Watt. I didn’t use the RTTY mode

Spring season, is time to antennas maintenance after the winter bad weather. Every year as soon as the weather become fair, in order to obtain a good performance in ARIDX 2026 Antennas maintenance. The ARI International Dx Contest, is organized by ARI the italian radioamateur associaation.
The ARIDX 2026 Antennas maintenance is carry out to assure the 100% efficience to the antennas system. I think we can’t instal antennas and live there in the roof or in the tower for years and years without any maintenace. So yearly I chech my multidipole for 40, 80 and 160 metres.

The Italian HF International contest take place the first weekend of may of each year. In the 2026 it start saturday the 2nd of may at 12:00 UTC and finish at 11:59 of sunday the 3rd may 2026. In this post of ARIDX CONTEST-2026 Italian Provinces, I’ll publish the table with the abreviation of all Italian provinces up date with new Sardinia Island provinces.

I participated in the EUDX 2026 just for practice and for testing a new power amplifier vintage, just finished to rebuilt and refurbished a few days before the contest.
End experimentation on 160m. The italian ministry of telecomunications, MIMIT, granted the expansion the 160 metres band between 1810 kHz and 1830 kHz in the experimentation form until 31st december 2025. The experimentation has not been reneval since now, therefore the italian Radioamateur can no longer use this segment of band in 160 metres. This is the band plan valid at now.
Red area is for CW, green area is for SSB and blue and light blue area is for digital mode.
