The Italian HF International contest take place the first weekend of may of each year. In the 2026 it start saturday the 2nd of may at 12:00 UTC and finish at 11:59 of sunday the 3rd may 2026. In this post of ARIDX CONTEST-2026 Italian Provinces, I’ll publish the table with the abreviation of all Italian provinces up date with new Sardinia Island provinces.

As soon as the 2026 rules will be publisced on the ARI web site, I’ll put the link to reach it. However, at the moment I can say that there are not differences respect the last year as I red the ruless in italian language. The last difference are the changement of the Sardinia Island provinces. For this pourpose i publish three tables with all italian provinces up date the Sardian ones.
First i publish the italian map with call areas and prefix of minor islands.

In the three tables following, the are all italian provinces, in alphabetic order, with abbreviations that will transmit italian stations during the contest after the 599. Exsample: I’ll transmit 599TV. Note the capital city ROME’s abbreviation is RM.
ARIDX CONTEST-2026 Italian Provinces post. The 2026 official rules are not still publised by the ARI Contest Committee, therefore I resume most important rules of the contes. Mode: CW, SSB, RTTY and SWL. Cattegories: Single operator, multi operators and mixed. For all cattegories, low power, maximun 100 W and high power maximun 500 W for italian. For DX stations the maximun power deepend by its internal laws. Exchange: 599 followed by province’s abreviation for italians, for instance I’ll transmit 599TV for Treviso. Instead foreing stations will send 599 and serial number of qso.
In conclusion, I’ll participate in the Mixed categorie with my own call I3FDZ. Please call me. The qso with you will be appreciated very much.
