ARI INTERNATIONAL DX CONTEST 2019 RESULTS
The contest Commission published the results of the ARI INTERNATIONAL DX CONTEST 2019 on the december 2019 issue of Radio Rivista the magazine of A.R.I., Associazione Radio Amatori Italiani. Lavorato un po’ di ore nel CQ WW 160-meter contest CW 2020, per 325 qso e 50 countries. E’ stata la mia prima partecipazione in questo contest. Sono stato molto sorpreso dall’alta partecipazione. E’ bello sentire i 160 metri così affollati. Rig: dipolo ripiegato e 80 watt. Farò il possibile per esserci anche l’anno prossimo, magari con un’pò di potenza in più.
I worked a few hours, less than seven, in the CQ WW 160-meter contest 2020, cw mode, I get 325 qso and 50 countries. It was my first participation in the CQ WW 160-meter contest. I have been happily surprised for the high participation. It’s nice heard the 160 meter band crowded. My Rig: folded dipole and 80 watt. I’ll do my best to participate the next year, even with more power.

WAE CW 2019 CONTEST COMMENTS
Il contest più interessante dell’anno è appena finito. Impegni famigliari mi hanno tenuto occupato il sabato ma la domenica mi sono scatenato. Ho operato solo per 17 ore e mezza, ma il risultato è stato soddisfacente lo stesso. Mi è sembrato che le condizioni di propagazione sono un po’ migliorate. Speriamo nel nuovo ciclo solare. Ho notato maggiore partecipazione da tutto il globo rispetto l’anno scorso. Di seguito trovate tutti i dati della mia partecipazione. Commenti o richieste di chiarimenti sono apprezzati. The most interested contest of the year is just finished. Family commitments kept me busy for Saturday but I went wild on Sunday. I operated 17 hours and half only, but the result give me satisfaction anyway. The propagation conditions seem to me a little bet improved. We hope for the new solar cycle. A trentanove anni luce di distanza dalla terra si trova una stella ultra fredda, una nana rossa, (2) chiamata Trappist-1 (3) si trova nelle vicinanze della costellazione dell’Aquario. La sua massa è simile al pianeta Giove. Ma la notizia eccezionale è che gli scienziati del “STAR Institute dell’Università di Liegi” (4) guidati dal professor Michael Gillon hanno scoperto sette pianeti orbitanti attorno a Trappist-1 di cui tre si trovano nella zona abitabile.

ARI International Dx Contest 2019
First full weekend of May
Il primo weekend di maggio è vicino, dobbiamo cominciare prepararci all’ ARI International Dx Contest 2019. Nonostante le condizioni di propagazioni non promettano grandi miglioramenti, dobbiamo essere fiduciosi. Nella scorsa edizione il nostro contest è stato vivacizzato dalla partecipazione di 72 countries e da 104 provincie italiane, quasi tutte.
The first weekend of May is quite close. The Ari International Dx Contest 2019 will take place that weekend. We have better to begin to prepare ourselves to the event. Despite the propagation forecasts do not promise big improvements, we must be confident. Last year, 72 countries and 104 italian provinces participated. This is an opportunity for forein stations to get the “W.A.I.P. Worked All Italian Provinces” award, contacting rares ones.

WAE CW 2018 results. The summer contest
DARC, the german association, organizing and managing the Wae contest, published the Wae CW 2018 results. Despite my best hope I found my call at the 15th place. On declared score list I was on the 11th place but during check-in operations the system found a lot of errors receiving the QTCs.
La DARC, associazione radioamatoriale tedesca the organizza e gestisce il contest Wae, ha pubblicato i Wae CW 2018 results. Nonostante le mie speranze di ottenere un buon risultato mi sono trovato al quindicesimo posto. Infatti nei punteggi dichiarati ero elencato all’undicesimo posto ma durante il controllo mi hanno trovato molti errori nella ricezione dei QTC.
