Italian International Dx Contest 2025

Less than one month to the Italian International Dx Contest 2025. It will take place the first weekend of may starting at 12:00 UTC of saturday 3rd and ending sunday 4th at 11:59 UTC. It’s a world wide type, but qso with italian station counts 10 points and each italian province counts one multiplier other than the DXCC list and WAE list. I’ll participate with a new special contest call IP3U.

Year by year the Italian Dx Contest is growing. 1624 were the logs received last year by the committee. Most of all 107 italian provinces will be run during our contest. So the Italian Dx Contest is an big chance to get the italian award WAIP Work All Italian Provinces.

I’ll participate in one of the category single operator high power, but I haven’t decided yet in which one of these: CW high power or mixed high power. So if you listen to my cq call CW or SSB please replay to me. the qso with you will be apreciated very much. Remember in this contest I’ll use the special contest call IP3U.

My setup for the contest will be real 500 Watt on all bands, and the antennas are: a two elements cubic quad for 20, 15 and 10 metres 15 metres high and a multi dipole inverted V for 40 and 80 metres with the top 12 metres high.

I use the contest logger software of Paolo ik3qar the QARTest assisted by the CAT and the k1el CW keyer and the DVK Device Voice Keyer for the SSB.
