RSGB IOTA Contest 2020

This year the RSGB IOTA contest take place the 25th and 26th luly 2020, from 12:00 UTC to 11:59 UTC. The last week end of july as usualy. But this year there are a few changements in the rules about the categories.

Quest’anno il RSGB IOTA Contest si terrà fra le ore 12:00 UTC di sabato 25 luglio e le ore 11:59 UTC di domenica 26 luglio 2020. Come il solito l’ultimo weekend di luglio di ogni anno. Quest’anno, però, ci saranno alcuni cambiamenti riguardanti le categorie.

Change for 2020

(ii) The contest in 2020 is exclusively for Single Operators using their home stations.
(iii) RSGB are not awarding trophies for the 2020 IOTA Contest
The category 4.1 (ii) “Island Station – DXpedition”, may not enter the contest in 2020.
The category 4.2 (iii) Island Multi-1 stations may not enter the contest in 2020.
The category 4.2 (iv) Island Multi-2 stations may not enter the contest in 2020.

These categories has been cancelled for this year owing health crisis Coronavirus (Covid-19). So only stations resident in the islands, are allowed to participate the contest. Not DxPedition.

Cambiamenti per il 2020

(ii) Il contest nel 2020 è esclusivamente per singoli operatori dalla loro stazione personale.
(III) La RSGB quest’anno non rilascerà trofei per il contest IOTA.
La Cattegoria 4.1 (ii) “Island Station – DXpedition” non ci sarà nel 2020.
La Cattegoria 4.1 (iii) “Island Multi-1” non ci sarà nel 2020.
La Cattegoria 4.2 (iv) “Island Multi-2” non ci sarà nel 2020.

Queste cattegorie sono state cancellate per quest’anno a causa della crisi sanitaria Coronavirus (COVID-19). Perciò, dalla parte delle isole, possono partecipare solo stazioni residenti dalla loro stazione personale. Non sono ammesse spedizioni DX sulle isole.
